Students Expelled From Horki Academy for Participation in Election Campaign
Alexander Stranchuk and Dzianis Sarokin, active participants of the election campaign, have been expelled from agro-ecology faculty of Horki academy. Alexander Stranchuk runs to Horki city executive committee, while Dzianis Sarokin is a member of his initiative group.
Public activist Andrei Yurkou, who is engaged in studying the details of the expulsion of the students from the academy, told RFE/RL that the guys had received an admonition for performance review. Yurkou believes that the admonitions are illegal and not valid. The administration of the academy hasn’t acquainted the students with the admonition and just informed them verbally about it.
Andrei Yurkou had a conversation with the rector of the Academy. The rector is convinced that the expulsion is legal and if the case is sent to court, the court will take his side.
