On 3 December a flash-mob was held in Minsk. It was dedicated to the International Day for the day of Slavery Abolition. Young activists gathered near the tube station Frunzenskaia, headed to McDonald’s restaurant in Niamiha Street and then to Maxibis cafe. Young people were acting out slaves, and they went with their hands tied with a rope. The procession was headed by a man with white mask and black moustache. He had a red-and-green cap on his head, and was wearing lots of golden medals for first places in ski and hockey competitions.
During the rally leaflets were distributed. They describe the danger of a damage done by the omnipresent system of state pressure and interference: use of contract system for crackdown on political opponents, graduates compulsory allocation and so on.
None of the participants was detained.
