Iryna Kazulina Allowed to Meet with Her Husband
According to BelaPAN
In her interview Iryna Kazulina said she received permission for a short-term meeting with her husband after a meeting with the deputy chair of the department of punishment execution Iury Barynkou that took place on 4 December. She also said that she asked to permit presence at the meeting to Siarhei Skrabets, who was released on 15 November. Mr Skrabets was kept in the same colony with Aliaksandr Kazulin and kept a hunger-strike of solidarity with him. However, he wasn’t admitted to the meeting.
We should remind that Mr Kazulin declared the hunger-strike on 20 October and by now lost more than 30 kilos. Now he has low body temperature and blood pressure. He hungers to protest against the lawlessness that is going on in the country and in order to draw the attention of the UN Security Council to the situation in Belarus.
