Today at about 6 a.m. activists of Young Front hanged out a banner Freedom to Dashkevich! at a railway bridge. The banner was about 10 meters long and could be seen there by drivers and passers-by many of whom were on the way to their jobs. The aim of the action is to draw the public attention to the illegal sentenced that was issued to the Young Front leader Zmitser Dashkevich. Young Front intends to continue its struggle for release of their leader.
We should remind that on 1 November 25-year-old co-chairman of Young Front Zmitser Dashkevich was sentenced to 1.5 years of jail for ‘activity on behalf of unregistered organizations’.
