In the morning of 22 January Iuliia Harachankova received a telephone call from the city’s KGB office. The KGB workers invited her for a talk. The activist answered she would come to them only on a summons. In the evening the summons was handed to her mother, as the girl was absent.
At 10 a.m. on 23 January the girl came to the KGB office together with a human rights activist Barys Bukhel, who wasn’t let in. At the office she was questioned about her trip to Poland, allegedly in connection with smuggling of drugs from Poland. She was asked when she traveled there and which train she took.
