The commission of Baranavichy city executive committee on administrative cases has fined a member of the Party of Communists of Belarus Viktar Tsiapin about 28 US dollars for alleged distribution of the printed organ of his party, officially registered newspaper Tovarishch.
Mr. Tsiapin is an engineer at the automatic line factory of Baranavichy. He came to his work with a bag with 200 copies of the newspaper in it and passed it to the cloakroom near the check-point. When he returned there after the end of his shift, the police were waiting for him. They confiscated the newspapers and drew a violation report.
Viktar Tsiapin disagrees with this ruling and is going to appeal it.
