On 13 February in Vitsebsk (unknown person who signs by the nick-name Miron) hanged out a white-red-white flag on the roof of a five-stored building in Peramohi Square. In his note, attached to the flag, he congratulated Belarusians with St. Valentine’s Day: ‘… Love Belarus. Miron’.
Later the witnesses said to the UCP press service that several hours later the flag was noticed by a police patrol. Police car arrived there, but none of the policemen had enough courage to climb the snow-covered roof and remove the flag. It was removed by a fire brigade.
