Minsk City Executive Committee Authorizes Meeting of Individual Entrepreneurs

Minsk city executive committee authorized a meeting of individual entrepreneurs on 12 March, but transferred its place to Banhalor Square. The time of the meeting is 12 a.m. – 17 p.m., the planned number of participants – 1 000 persons. According to an activist of the entrepreneur movement Siarhei Balykin, the main aim of the action is to draw the public attention to problems of individual entrepreneurs and the main reason is presidential decree #760 which since 1 January 2008 actually prohibits individual entrepreneurs to employ workers except for 3 close relatives.
