In February a third-year student of the juridical faculty of Homel State University Ihar Sluchak was summonsed to the dean’s office. There he was met by a stranger who introduced himself as KGB captain Siarhei Pyrkh. Ihar Sluchak said that the visitor tried to recruit him for getting information about teachers, students, their views and intentions. I refused to do it. Then he said he would phone me again. I answered that I was not going to come to him. Then he got on his nerves and started shouting: I bet you would!’’ Insulted with such arrogance of the secret services, Ihar filed an application with Homel regional KGB office and asked to discriminate in the legality of Pyrkh’s actions. There is no answer yet.
