Barys Haretski Declared a Suspect in Criminal Case against Young Front
Today the press secretary of the Young Front Barys Haretski was summonsed to the prosecutor’s office. There he was informed about the change of his status – now he is a suspect in the criminal case under article 193/.1, ‘activity on behalf of unregistered organization’, that has been brought against the Young Front.
At 10 p.m. on 13 March KGB agents searched Haretski’s apartment. Before this they searched the apartment of his mother, where he is registered. It’s worth mentioning that they made several attempts to break the door of the flat, but didn’t manage to do it and had to wait for him in the porch. When he came home, they searched the flat and confiscated old leaflets and the system block from a computer that belongs to Barys’ younger brother, under-aged Kanstantsin Haretski.
