KGB Agents Intimidate Youth Activist Hiaorhi Prakapovich

On 14 February a member of the BPF Youth Hiaorhi Prakapovich was detained near the office of the Belarusian People’s Front Party. Several KGB agents came up to him on a tramway stop, showed their certificates and asked to come with them.

‘They asked what I was doing at the BPF office. Then they took me to a car and started checking my belongings. They opened my bag and took a notebook, continuing to ask about my visit to the office and attitude to the youth who come there. They demanded that I didn’t go there no more and said they would find me if I posted stickers and ‘played in politics’. Soon they let me go,’ H.Prakapovich said.
