Milinkevich Receives Injuries, Goes through Rehabilitation
Yesterday Alexander Milinkevich went through a medical examination. The politician had injuries of the left hand and felt pain in the backbone area. He received the injuries on March 25 when resisting the policemen. He headed one of the groups of protesters who came out to celebrate the Freedom Day. Milinkevich and a group of his closest colleagues covered the withdrawal of the protesters, negotiated with the police, and fought for the detained. When the people were pushed out from Internatsyanalnaya Street, special police officers knocked Milinkevich down.
They also injured the arm of Milinkevich’s wide Ina Kulei, who was with her husband all the time. There was blood on her arm.
After the incident the politician went in the head of the colun of protesters along Niamiha and Masherava avenues. Later he arrived at Yakub Kolas square where he headed the protesters who managed to get to Skaryna avenue from Niamiha.
According to Milinkevich’s press-secretary Paval Mazheika, the results of the medical examination give hope that the politician will be alright by the weekend. There are no fractures. Now Milinkevich is going through medical rehabilitation, Nasha Niva reports.
