Kasia Halitskaya and Ivan Spiryn were detained at 8.20 a.m. near their apartment building.
RFE/RL reports the girl was taken to Centralny police department where she was told she was on the police wanted list. Ivan Spiryn was left in a local police station. In some time both activists were released. However, they had to sign a statement that they were aware that it was inadmissible to violate public order.
Policemen in civil clothes are on duty near the entry to the apartment of Young Front activist Barys Haretski. Young Front members think the police have got an order to isolate the most active opposition members during the Chernobyl March action.
