Hrodna: UCP Prohibited to Hold Pickets in Defense of Old City

According to the European Radio, in response the political activists prepare a suit. In their answer to the applicants representatives of Hrodna city executive committee referred to the fact that Zhyliber Park and the stadium where representatives of the United Civil Party intended to hold the picket, didn’t meet the requirements for such actions. However, no alternative places for the pickets were proposed.

The chair of Hrodna UCP branch Iury Istomin called this answer absurd, as earlier by its decision Hrodna CEC determined both locations as places for informational pickets.
