On 13 May a rally in support of St. Joseph church was held in Minsk. Youth activists placed a streamer ‘Let’s defend the church at 7 p.m. on 16 May’, on the bridge over Niamiha Street. The streamer stayed there for about an hour, and then it was removed by two policemen on duty.
The activists also distributed leaflets with a call to take part in a prayer service for returning the church to believers which is planned to May 16, on the Day of Belarusian Solidarity. At the moment of the action collection of signatures was held near the church.
