Youth Activist Yauhen Skrabutan Summonsed to KGB
According to the press-service of Young Front
Several days ago the family of the student of Warsaw University, youth activist Yauhen Skrabutan received a call-up for him to come to the KGB office of Vaukavysk.
As the student was not at home, a KGB officer decided to ‘talk’ with his father instead. The ‘talk’ took place at Zelva district police department. The father said that the KGB officer asked about Yauhen’s participation in Young Front.
‘A week ago, during my detention on the Polish border KGB officers headed by the captain Aleh Zhyvushka demanded from me explanations concerning membership in Young Front. Now I think they will try to summon me for a normal interrogation. However, they can’t expect receiving any information as I always refuse from giving any testimonies or explanations. My parents are used to the fact that something happens with me all the time. That’s why the KGB visit could hardly be an attempt to intimidate them,’ Skrabutan said.
