In the morning UCP leader Anatol Liabedzka came to the office of the Prosecutor General. Representative of the Prosecutor General Office Radzivonau gave an oral warning to Liabedzka.
The UCP leader was warned for giving comments to Belaruski Partyzan web-site and Narodnaya Volya newspaper about suspension of activity of the pro-democratic Party of Communists of Belarus for 6 months.
In the interview to RFE/RL Liabedzka points out: “I gave written explanation, where I declared my position once again -- I believe that Belarus still does not have an independent judicial system. This is my personal opinion, an opinion of a member of the parliament that was dispersed. I have the right to such an opinion”.
