In the morning Andrei Sharenda, activist of the Movement “For Freedom” was detained near the entry to his apartment building. Now Maskouski department police are taking him to a police station.
Andrei managed to say on the phone that the police officers did not tell him what law he had violated and why he was detained. The activist links the detention to his participation in the presentation of the book Letters from the Woods by Paval Seviarynets. Then the police detained over 40 people and accused them of participation in an unauthorized meeting.
“Although, I assume the police may draw up a report about any other violation I had allegedly conducted”, -- Andrei Sharenda said.
