Today Brest police detained lawyer Raman Kisliak near the doors of Maskouski court of Brest. In a telephone conversation he told RFE/RL, he was charged with an administrative violation. Raman Kisliak says, he was detained on August 19th during the presentation of Paval Seviarynets’ book Letters from the Woods. The police drew up a report, but a judge found mistakes in it and sent it back for revision. Now Raman Kisliak is kept at Maskouski police department of Brest. The policemen are rewriting the report of August 19th. He is charged with participation in an unauthorized gathering on August 19th.
