The activist of For Freedom movement Siarhei Parsiukevich was detained in Vitsebsk. At the moment of detention he scotch-taped his mouth mutely, so that the police could not accuse him of ?swearing in public’.
Siarhei Parsiukevich’s car was stopped by the road police near his house. The policemen said his car allegedly was on the wanted list and offered him to go to the police station.
On 10 October a coordinator of For Freedom movement Uladzimir Katsora was detained in Homel in the same way. His car was stopped for the same reason, and later the police drew on him a report for ?dirty swearing in public’. The court sentenced Uladzimir Katsora to 7 days of jail.
