On 4 November, after a street meeting with the citizens of the town of Masty, the police took the politician Aliaksandr Milinkevich to a police station and demanded from him explanations concerning the event. They wanted to know whether it wasn’t an unauthorized mass action.
According to the information of a former deputy of Masty district deputy soviet Ales Zarembiuk, there were no features of unauthorized mass actions: nobody made public speeches, no resolutions were adopted and no sound-amplifying equipment was used.
After release from the police station Milinkevich met with the local democratic activists.
