Yaraslau Hryshchenia Fired
On 13 November the director of Baranavichy Culture house of railway workers phoned to the youth activist Yaraslau Hryshchenia and told that he was fired.
Bear in mind that several days ago Hryshchenia got into a serious accident near Dziarzhynsk, on the way from Minsk to Baranavichy. Though it was really an accident that could hardly be organized by secret services, Hryshchenia got a compressive spine fracture. On 13 November Yaraslau was signed out from the hospital and transferred to home regime.
‘I can hardly move’, said Yaraslau Hryshchenia to a Pahonia correspondent. ‘I can’t walk. Today I have got a phone call from the culture house where I was working as a sound-engineer. He sincerely confessed that he had to fire me because an order of the authorities and said I had to come to work to take back my documents. So, as people say, troubles never come singly.’
