Pavel Kuryanovich and Tatsiana Tsishkevich Expelled from Universities
Activists of the civil campaign For Freedom! Pavel Kuryanovich and Tatsiana Tsishkevich were expelled from universities after administrative arrests for participation in the street actions on 10 and 16 January.
Pavel Kuryanovich was a four-year student of the Minsk State Radiotechnical College. He studied at the electronics faculty with a specialization in technical service and running of computer utilities. Vice principal on educational work Tamara Parafianovich and principle Mikalai Tsyralchuk informed him about the expulsion. The reason is absence from class from 17 January to 5 February (Pavel was in the Center of Offenders’ Isolation for participation in the action of solidarity on 16 January).
Tatsiana Tsishkevich was a two-year student of the Belarusian State University of Physical Culture. She studied at the faculty of sporting games and combat sports with a specialization equestrian sport coach. Dean Aliaksandr Shakhlai, vice-principle on educational work Aliaksei Hatatulin and principle Mikhail Kobrynski told her about the dropout. The reason is administrative offence, aimed at violence of public morality and ethics. Tatsiana Tsishkevich was arrested at the protest action on 10 January and sentenced to 20 days of arrest.
