European and national flags seized from oppositionists’ apartment during search
A private apartment of a member of the Young Front was searched on 21 May. The police and people in civvies attached the property in the apartment and seized national and European flags.
The policemen uploaded information from a computer to their memory card. The Young Front members Dzianis Karnou and Vadzim Khaniauka were in the apartment. Policemen refused to tell reasons for the search to the boys.
After the search Young Front members were guarded to the Maskouski district militia department for verification of identity.
Names of two policemen, who executed the search are Trubish Aleh, police officer from the Maskouski district militia department, and Kavalei Syarhei, district police officer. Some people in civvies were also present in the apartment.
Deputy head of the Young Front Nasta Palazhanka, who came to the apartment later, said the militia had refused to tell a reason for the search and shown a search warrant.
Dzianis Karnou and Vadzim Khanyauka left the militia department at 12 midnight after verification of identity.
