A photojournalist of Belhazeta Vadzim Zamirouski and another photojournalist have been detained near the House of Government in Independence Square today.
As the Charter’97 press-centre found out, the journalist tried to picture a woman who came near the House of Government with a red Communist flag.
Vadzim Zamirouski and his colleague were detained by the Security service of the president. The woman with the flag wasn’t detained. It is worth mentioning that the photojournalist is accredited for work in the parliament.
‘We were made to delete all the photos, as one of the security service officers decided he had been pictured,’ Vadzim Zamirouski said.
