Minsk: pressurization of nominees to local electoral commissions increases

A potential candidate at Minsk south-western electoral district #99 Yury Karetnikau stated about the increase in pressurization of the members of his initiative group who had nominated their candidacies to the local electoral commissions belonging to this electoral district.

A member of the initiative group studying at a high school was told to choose between continuation of his study or participation in the initiative group.

A worker of the bearing plant was deprived of bonus wage and the plant administration openly told him about the reasons. Besides, the worker was forcibly directed to collect signatures for the pro-governmental candidate running at this district.

Yury Karetnikau addressed the district electoral commission with a complaint concerning pressurization of the members of his initiative group and those who had nominated their candidacies to the local electoral commissions.
