Is there any truth in Yarmoshyna’s words?
Today the head of the Central electoral commission Lidziya Yarmoshyna has stated that at a polling station in Babruisk the OSCE observers had thrown down a ballot box and kicked it with their feet. In addition, they allegedly demanded that the electors gave their ballots to them.
Babruisk human rights activists decided to check this information. They asked the OSCE observers who had visited the polling station in secondary school #26 in Babruisk-Leninskaya electoral constituency #78.
OSCE observers from Spain and Albania talked with the schoolmaster Maslouskaya. They examined the ballot box, saw there several ballots, then said goodbye and went away. They behaved well during the conversation with Maslouskaya.
Then they also asked the police about this incident, and received an answer that they knew nothing about it. So, Babruisk human rights defenders think it can be just a provocation.
