Vitsebsk: Where’s the truth?

The situation at precincts #21 and #22 of Vitsebsk-Chyhunachnaya electoral constituency #19 is quite interesting. Precinct #21 is situated on the territory of the clinical hospital and #22 – on the territory of military unit #52400.

According to the official information, at precinct #21 2 persons voted for Ihar Kanyhin, 3 – for Andrei Levinau, 148 – for Siarhei Siamashka (pro-governmental candidate) and 2 – against all candidates; and at precinct #22 6 people voted for Ihar Kanyhin, five – for Andrei Levinau, 313 – for Siarhei Siamashka and 10 – against all candidates.

Having received this information, the observers went to the hospital. Eight out of the eight people who they managed to question answered that they had voted for Levinau and two refused to answer the question.

At precinct #22 21 soldiers explained that all of them had voted for Levinau, who had served in their military unit.
