Activist of “For Freedom” movement fired
Activist of “For Freedom” movement Zmitser Kukhlej from Masty has received an official report of the administration of “Mastoudreu” enterprise that labour relations with him will be stopped.
The administration of the enterprise does not want to extend the contract with the pro-democracy activist who works at the enterprise as a translator. Officially the labour relations are stopped “as the contract expires”. The report is signed by the director general Syarhei Asosau, by.milinkevich.org informs.
Zmitser Kujhlej found himself in a similar situation a year ago. The activist was warned about breaking the contract. His friends are sure the reason was his activism. The case became well-known, and the administration of the enterprise changed its decision.
It is possible that the decision to extend the contract was adopted last year with the hope that Kukhlej would become less active during the election campaign to the parliament. However the activist decided to run to the parliament.
“I was invited for “conversations” many times and offered to minimize my activities in politics and social life. Management held informal talks with me before and after local elections, and before Alyaksandr Milinkevich’s visit in April,” Zmitser Kukhlej said.
