Marta Maiseyenka, activist of the civil campaign European Belarus, was to have trial in the Tsentralny district court of Minsk on 31 December. The girl was detained in the night of 30 December and was kept at the police station till morning, RFE/RL reports.
Marta Maiseyenka and her friends were waiting for the trial to begin for 2 hours since 9 a.m, but the police witnesses didn’t appear in court. So, the trial was postponed to 12 January. It was known in the court that Marta had been detained when she was trying to hang a national white-red-white flag on a decorated fur-tree in Kastrychnitskaya Square. It was a ground to draw up the violation report. Student Marta Maiseyenka was released before the trial.
