“Young Front” activists, kidnapped by secret services on March 25, filed complaint to prosecutor’s office
“Young Front” activists Nasta Palazhanka and Dzyanis Karnou filed a complaint to the Frunzenski district prosecutor’s office at their kidnapping on March 25.
It should be reminded that some hours before the demonstration on Freedom Day, Nasta Palazhanka and Dzyanis Karnou were detained by militia officers. The young people were taken out of Minsk and left in a forest near the road. As the press service of the “Young Front” reports, Dzyanis Karnou was beaten, his jeans were cut.
In the complaint the “Young Front” activists demand to find the people, who took part in the groundless detention and theft (the youth activists were seized money, SIM cards, and a bag), check the facts mentioned and give a legal estimation of the actions of militia.
Dzyanis Karnou also made up a complaint to the Tsentralny district prosecutor’s office asking to carry out an investigation on the theft. As Karnou states, militiamen took 100 euros from his apartment during the search on March 25.
