On 7 August, a complaint of activist of the civil campaign European Belarus Maksim Viniarski was considered in court.
On 1 August, the court of Tsentralny district of Minsk sentenced European Belarus activists Maksim Viniarski and Uladzimir Kumets to pay 350 000 rubles fine under Article 17.1 (disorderly conduct). The youth activists were detained by police while hanging out a banner ‘Freedom to Autukhovich!’
Maksim Viniarski tried to appeal against the decision; he stated a report against him was falsified by police officers. The detained for a banner calling to release the political prisoners were accused of ‘using foul language in public’. Judge of Minsk city court Uladzimir Hrabastau dismissed the claim of the activist.
