The Belarusian Ministry of Information orders to suspend civil prosecution of Russian ecologist Andrei Ozherovsky, urging the investigation to return the seized printed materials, criticizing the construction of a nuclear power plant in Belarus, the BelaPAN news agency reports.
The decree signed by Deputy Minister of Information Ihar Laptsionak says that Ozherovsky did not violate the civil legislation, since ‘the seized materials are not printed mass media.’
The Famous Russian physicist and ecologist Andrei Ozherovsky was arrested on 9 October in the town of Astravets, Hrodna region, during a public hearing on the possible construction of a nuclear power plant in Belarus.
