No room for oppositionists in Minsk regional electoral committee, Vitsebsk city electoral committee and Homel regional electoral committee

As a result of a joint meeting of the presidium of Vitsebsk city council of deputies and Vitsebsk city executive committee, none of the four representatives of political parties nominated for joining Vitsebsk city electoral committee was allowed to become its member.

Similarly, none of the candidates nominated for work in Minsk regional electoral committee was elected at a joint meeting of Minsk regional executive committee and Minsk regional council.

The two candidates nominated for Homel regional committee were also turned down by the nominating meeting.

The committees are comprised of either members of pro-governmental political parties and public associations or non-partisans.
