Mahiliou: inaccuracies in determination of boundaries of election constituencies

Many inaccuracies were found in the description of the election constituencies published in the Mahiliouskiya Vedamastsi newspaper.

Human rights defender Andrei Kolchyn and Dzmitry Salauyou, Chairperson of the Mahiliou oblast organization of the Belarusian Popular Front Adradzhennia, paid a visit to the Mahiliou city territorial commission to specify the boundaries of the constituencies.

’The boundaries weren’t determined clearly enough. The commission promised to solve this problem for the weekend and divide the constituencies on the map. However, as a result of such omissions, the persons who wish to run for the local Soviets of Deputies, lose several days, as the registration of initiatives groups of pretenders to candidates has started already, but it can be difficult to determine at which constituency a person can run,’ said Dzmitry Salauyou.
