The United Civic Party Orsha town office addressed the town executive committee with a demand to provide official explanations concerning the two facts of non-inclusion of the party’s representatives on the town’s divisional election commissions.
The appeal argues that the UCPB nominated Aliaksandr Kryvitski and Uladzimir Yurzhyts, both having substantial experience of participating in elections, for divisional commission #16 and #28 respectively. However, both of the candidates were rejected. At the same time, representatives of the Red Cross, the Peace Foundation and a number of other humane societies, having little to do with elections, were elected members of the commissions.
