38 out of 40 Salihorsk constituencies to be non-alternative

The official data released upon the completion of the registration stage show that in 38 out of 40 constituencies of the town of Salihorsk there will be only one candidate.

Out of 47 applications 4 were dismissed due to violations of procedures of collecting signatures, including 3 independent candidates. They consider the refusals politically-motivated, but are not going to appeal the decisions.   

90% of future local council members are either heads or deputy heads of  state-owned enterprises.
