Mechyslau Yaskevich, Deputy Chairperson of the Union of Poles in Belarus, and Veranika Sebastyianovich, Chairperson of the Association of Officers of the Polish Army at the UPB, were detained by police not far from Shchychyn.
According to blogger poczobut, the formal reason for the detention is that some ‘underground literary editions’ were found in the car by which Yaskevich and Sebastyianovich were driving in order to visit some army veterans living in Shchychun district.
