Mikola Dzemidzenka, deputy chair of the Young Front movement, was arrested by the police for distributing leaflets advertising the annual Chernobyl Shliakh demonstration in Minsk’s Yakub Kolas square on 21 April.
The police seized some 500 copies of the leaflet and took the activist to Minsk Leninski police department.
