The pro-government candidates Mikalai Astashka, Henadz Valynets, Maryna Matsiuk, Viachaslau Dunkovich, and some other loyal candidates, keep violating decision #379 of 12 February 2010 by Baranavichy town executive committee, by posting their election leaflets in populous places. The town’s prosecutor’s office and the election commission have received a number of complaints by Baranavichy residents against violations of the Electoral Code by pro-state candidates. The local human rights activist Ryhor Hryk also lodged a complaint, demanding to prosecute the offenders under civil proceedings.
