Chair of Zelva district executive committee threatens candidate

On 22 April chair of Zelva district executive committee Valiantsin Semianiaka threatened the local independent candidate Yauhen Skrabutan, as he was observing the process of early voting at one of the town’s polling stations. The official said he would not allow Mr. Skrabutan to stay there and was going to find grounds for turning the candidate out of the polling station. The threat was witnessed by numerous persons, including the members of the election commission and the observers.
