The United Civil Party member Vital Huliak was detained by Vaukavysk police for distributing postcards of the ‘Tell the Truth’ public campaign and taken to the police station, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports.
According to the activist, the police seized 691 postcards and are going to charge him with civil offence.
On 22 April Mr. Huliak was visited by deputy chair of Vaukavysk district department of internal affairs and recommended not to take part in any ‘anti-state actions.’
