Three activists of the Young Front movement, Kiryl Kavaliou, Zmitser Skachkou and Ivan Zaitsau, were detained on 2 June in Homel, while collecting signatures for the abolishment of Decree #60 On measures to improve the use of the national segment of the internet.
Zmitser Skachkou took photos of the action. 'About 7.30 the police arrived. They confiscated the signature lists, seized the photo camera from Mr. Skachkou, deleted all photos including private ones, and guarded the activists to the Homel District Police Department', BelaPAN writes referring to the website of the Young Belarus. In 1.5 hours the detainees were let go without receiving any charges.
