Journalist of Radio 'Racyja' denied accreditation again

The Ministry of Justice dismissed another application for accreditation of Viktar Parfionenka, a journalist for Radio 'Racyja'. The previous application, submitted to the ministry a year ago, had been rejected as well.

'I think that the authorities stubbornly follow the paved way of mistrust and hostility to everything pro-Belarusian, everything which they think can undermine their stability. I won't give up and will continue submitting applications for accreditation.

According to the Belarusian Constitution, every citizen has the right to receive and impart information. However, the commission that issued accreditations on permissive principle,  seems to explain this provision according to its own views', commented the journalist.
