On August 1 two Young Front activists were detained in the town of Barysau for propagation of national symbols.

On Sunday evening policemen detained Hanna Sharuba and Uladzislau Yaryomenka in Barysau. The Young Front members were decorating the town with national symbols, the press-service of the Young Front informs.

Reports were drawn up against the activists on charges relating Article 21.14 of the Administrative Code: “violation of the rules of community redevelopment”. They were fingerprinted and released in three hours.

Under Article 21.14 they can be punished by a fine from 4 to 25 basic units.

Previously the same charges were filed against Young Belarus activist Nasta Azarka.
