Yaraslau Hryshchenia, activist of the unregistered Young Front youth opposition movement, has been dismissed from work for involvement in opposition activities.

The activist has been reportedly fired for contributing to an exhibition of political satire posters arranged by the Belarusian Popular Front Minsk office.

Yaraslau Hryshchenia had been employed as a marketing manager in a Tekhostar tourist agency since May 2010. However, a few weeks ago he was told he would not be able to work for the agency any more due to his civil and political activities.

The youth lacking an employment contract is nonetheless going to sue the company’s management, since he considers the dismissal a politically motivated move.

This is not the first time the activist has been dismissed from work, after he was fired by the management of Baranavichy Railroad Culture Palace back in 2007.
