Police seize newspaper Krynica in Hrodna

Mikola Bausyuk, a coordinator of the committee to organize the Belarusian Christian Democracy party, was detained in Hrodna, carrying the copies of Krynica newspaper, reports Radio Svaboda.
Mikola Bausyuk was taken to a police station, where some 100 copies of the newspaper, some 70 leaflets of presidential candidate Vital Rymasheuski were confiscated. The police is keeping the seized printed materials for ten days to check, while Bausyuk was let go.
Mikola Bausyuk was to hand out the Krynica newspaper at a meeting of the regional coalition of the United Pro-Democracy Forces (UDF) that took place in Hrodna.
