The issue of receiving food parcels by civil convicts is beyond the mainstream of public consciousness, says human rights activist Siarhei Ustsinau, quoting Stanislau Daniliuk, judge of the Constitutional Court of Belarus.

According to the high judicial official, a person convicted under civil proceedings should stand certain hardships, a 15-day starving doing good to his or her body.

Siarhei Ustsinau has lately carried on correspondence with the Constitutional Court on the equality of convicts’ rights to receive food parcels. The human rights activist insisted on a personal conversation with the Court’s officials, after he was informed his correspondence was terminated.
