Mr. Tsitsiankou, Deputy Chairperson of the Minsk City Executive Committee, thinks that such actions will hinder the movement of pedestrians.
Activists of the For Freedom movement applied for authorization of a series of pickets with the aim to inform the population about Aliaksandr Milinkevich’s proposals for solving socio-economical issues. They intended to hold the pickets near the Gippo supermarket in the Serabranka suburb, a usual place for agitation pickets during elections. However, in his answer the official states that the picketing will hinder the movement of pedestrians and work of the supermarket and therefore should be banned.
