On 22 September the Political Council of the United Civil Party officially warned the party members of their possible expulsion from the party in case of involvement in the campaign teams of candidates, other than the UCP presidential hopeful Yaraslau Ramanchuk.
In case a party member wants to participate in the activities of a different candidate, his or her membership will be suspended and the issue will be reviewed after the end of the election campaign, says UCP spokesman Anatol Paulau.
